THE BARA PANI "HOTEL" At Bara Pani there is a small "hotel" which is really just a couple of tents. The manager at the Skardu PTDC hotel told us that this "hotel" served lunch, which I'm not sure is exactly true. But, the hotel guy did have trout which he caught on order. We brought up bread, onions and mayonnaise making a pretty nice sandwich with carrots on the side.

I don't think the hotel guy had taken too many cooking lessons. The fish was deep fried almost beyond recognition Still, somehow, my memory will be that this was yummy fish.

BRIDGET'S WATER PHOTOS On the way down, Bridget made the driver stop several times so she could take photos of the water falls and cascades. Karachi is a pretty dusty and dry place. Even Murree didn't have enough water so, it was nice to see all this clear, clean water flowing so freely.

Thanks for joining us on this journey! My dream trip is to go to Concordia which, according to one guide, is the most spectacular high country in the world. Wanna join me?
