ABOUT THIS WEB SITE: I almost always get people asking about my web pages, which is flattering. Here are the basics: The pages were laid out using Microsoft Publisher. (I've used several web authoring programs, including expensive ones, but I have to say that Publisher is my favorite for throwing together pages.) All the photos were taken with my Sony Hi-8 video camera and digitized using a Snappy video grabber. All are straight grabs with no manipulation. I apologize for any factual errors. Nearly all of this travelogue is taken from talking to local people and I took no notes. So, obviously, it is only as accurate as the people I spoke with; the limitations of their broken English or my worse Urdu; and my months-old memories.
