Circa 1900, The story of the old Shaman G.A'ndox's-Father.
- As told by Abraham of Those-born-at-Q!a'dAsgo. An especially interesting account because it gives a rare glimpse into the spiritual beliefs of the Haida in the late 19th century including the melding of Christian and native spirits. Here is a photo (25K) of a Haida shaman taken at about this same time period.

Franz Boas' account of the major Indian groups found on the NW coast, and their economy.
