Online Card Catalogue
Both of the libraries in Pacifica are part of the Peninsula Library System, which maintains a county wide catalogue of the books, tapes, and other resources available. Through it, you can learn if the book you want is currently "on the shelf", or if it is "checked out". And... which libraries stock the book. If not in Pacifica, for a small fee they will ship it to your local library
Set your modem for 8N1. 8 Bits, Parity:none, Stop bits:1, and full duplex.

After you see "CONNECTION ESTABLISHED" type ENTER
At the "login:" prompt, type "library". [must be all lowercase]
Hit ENTER to confirm the default VT100 terminal type and follow the onscreen instructions.
It is considerate to properly logoff after you are done, [instead of just hanging up] because it frees the system more quickly for another person to use it.
