My photo album, page 3 Jim Evans Here is where my house was, and the start of the euclyptus grove. We planted it :) We dug up some small trees (3 to 5 ft) from what we called "the grove" (the place along the old road to Pedro Point...still Shamrock? ) and put them in our garden for the smell. Needless to say they thrived. Here's another picture of the house taken in about 1960, you can see the eucalyptus trees have grown as high as the power lines. A photo of Princton, circa 1956. All sorts of wild creatures used to visit our house at Shamrock Ranch, including this possum which used to show up regularly when we fed the cats. back
